राष्ट्रीय नदी गंगा की स्वच्छता एवं निर्मलता के लिए चल रही नमामि गंगे परियोजना के अंतर्गत उत्तराखंड को केंद्र सरकार से सौगात मिलने का सिलसिला जारी है।
राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ गंगा मिशन (एनएमसीजी) की बुधवार को हुई कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक में नमामि गंगे परियोजना के अंतर्गत राज्य में 118 करोड़ रुपये की लागत वाली छह योजनाओं को सैद्धांतिक स्वीकृति दे दी गई।
इससे पहले इसी वर्ष मई व जुलाई में एनएमसीजी ने उत्तराखंड की सात योजनाओं के लिए 68 करोड़ रुपये की स्वीकृति दी थी।मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इन योजनाओं की स्वीकृति देने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और केंद्रीय जलशक्ति मंत्री गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया है।
एनएमसीजी के महानिदेशक अशोक कुमार की अध्यक्षता दिल्ली में हुई मिशन की कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक में उत्तराखंड की ओर से नमामि गंगे परियोजना के लिए भेजी गई छह योजनाओं के प्रस्तावों पर विमर्श हुआ।
इसके बाद गंगा नदी में जल प्रदूषण नियंत्रण और तटों पर जनसुविधाएं विकसित करने के मद्देनजर इन योजनाओं के लिए सैद्धांतिक स्वीकृति दे दी गई। इन योजनाओं में ऋषिकेश क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत मुनिकी रेती, ढालवाला, स्वर्गाश्रम व नीलकंठ में अपशिष्ट जल प्रबंधन के लिए 90.90 करोड़ की योजना मुख्य है।
इसके अंतर्गत इन क्षेत्रों में 12.80 एमएलडी क्षमता के चार सीवरेज शोधन संयंत्रों की स्थापना, सीवर लाइन व सीवेज पंपिंग स्टेशन से संबंधित कार्य होंगे। इसके अलावा बदरीनाथ धाम में रिवर फ्रंट डेवलपमेंट के अंतर्गत सुरक्षात्मक कार्य, इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन ट्रैक, शौचालय व दुकानों के निर्माण को 27.18 करोड़ की लागत से कार्य होंगे।
मिशन की कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक से वर्चुअली जुड़े अपर सचिव एवं राज्य में नमामि गंगे परियोजना के कार्यक्रम निदेशक उदयराज सिंह ने इन योजनाओं को स्वीकृति मिलने की पुष्टि की। उन्होंने बताया कि सभी योजनाओं पर अब शीघ्र ही कार्य प्रारंभ किए जाएंगे।
