देहरादून में लंबे सूखे के बाद हुई भारी बारिश से तापमान 12 डिग्री गिरा। मसूरी, चकराता और धनोल्टी में जोरदार बर्फबारी हुई, जिससे पर्यटकों की संख्या में वृद्धि हुई है। बर्फबारी ने पर्यटन व्यवसायियों के चेहरे खिला दिए हैं। पुलिस प्रशासन ने पर्यटकों की भीड़ और यातायात व्यवस्था के लिए विशेष इंतजाम किए हैं। आज भी हल्की बारिश के आसार हैं।
देहरादून में लंबे इंतजार के बाद झमाझम वर्षा ने भारी राहत दी है। करीब तीन माह का सूखा समाप्त हुआ और दिनभर मध्यम से तीव्र वर्षा का सिलसिला चलता रहा। 12 घंटे के भीतर हुई 20 मिलीमीटर से अधिक वर्षा से पारे ने गोता लगाया और अधिकतम तापमान में 12 डिग्री सेल्सियस की गिरावट दर्ज की गई। इसके साथ ही आसपास के ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में भी वर्षा के साथ-साथ भारी बर्फबारी हुई। जिससे स्थानीय और दूसरे राज्यों से पर्यटक भी उमड़ने लगे हैं। इस बीच कड़ाके की ठंड से दून और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में जनजीवन प्रभावित हो गया। आज भी आंशिक बादल छाने और हल्की वर्षा के आसार हैं।
देहरादून में बीते गुरुवार को अधिक तापमान 26 डिग्री से अधिक दर्ज किया गया था। जो कि सामान्य से छह डिग्री सेल्सियस अधिक रहा। पिछले काफी समय से वर्षा न होने के कारण तापमान में लगातार वृद्धि हो रही थी। जनवरी के शुरुआती तीन माह में अधिकतम तापमान सामान्य से अधिक दर्ज किया जाता रहा। गुरुवार रात को मजबूत पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के उत्तराखंड पहुंचने के कारण मौसम ने करवट बदल ली।
तड़के से ही दून और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में बादल मंडराने लगे। इसके बाद सुबह वर्षा का सिलसिला शुरू हुआ, जो पहाड़ों पर बर्फबारी में बदल गया। दून में अधिकतम तापमान 14 डिग्री सेल्सियस रिकार्ड किया गया, जो कि सामान्य से छह डिग्री सेल्सियस कम था। मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के अनुसार, आज देहरादून समेत आसपास के क्षेत्रों में आंशिक बादल छाने और हल्की वर्षा होने का अनुमान है। अगले दो दिन दिन में न्यूनतम तापमान में दो से तीन डिग्री सेल्सियस की कमी आने की संभावना है।
मसूरी में माल रोड से किंक्रेग तक हिमपात
मसूरी: शुक्रवार सुबह लगभग साढ़े नौ बजे मसूरी में हिमपात शुरू हुआ, जो रुक-रुक कर शाम करीब चार बजे तक जारी रहा। मालरोड से लेकर किंक्रेग तक पूरी मसूरी नगरी बर्फ से ढक गई। मालरोड क्षेत्र में तीन से चार इंच तक बर्फ जमी, जबकि चार दुकान, लाल टिब्बा, जार्ज एवरेस्ट और विंसेंट हिल में चार से छह इंच तक हिमपात रिकार्ड किया गया।
धनोल्टी और बुराशंखंडा में छह इंच से अधिक बर्फ गिरने की सूचना है। लंबे अंतराल के बाद हुई इस बर्फबारी ने पर्यटन गतिविधियों में नई जान फूंक दी है। हिमपात की खबर मिलते ही शुक्रवार दोपहर बाद से मसूरी में पर्यटकों की आमद तेजी से बढ़ गई। मालरोड और बाजारों में पर्यटक एक-दूसरे पर बर्फ के गोले फेंकते और यादगार पल कैमरों में कैद करते दिखे। हिमपात के चलते उमड़ रही पर्यटकों की भीड़ और यातायात व्यवस्था को सुचारू रखने के लिए पुलिस प्रशासन अलर्ट मोड पर है। कोतवाल दवेंद्र चौहान ने बताया कि देहरादून से अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल मंगाया गया है और प्रमुख मार्गों व पर्यटन स्थलों पर यातायात नियंत्रण और सुरक्षा के विशेष इंतजाम किए गए हैं, ताकि किसी भी प्रकार की अव्यवस्था या हादसे से बचा जा सके।
चकराता में जोरदार हिमपात से पर्यटन व्यवसायियों के चेहरे खिले
चकराता और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में भी जोरदार हिमपात हुआ है। जिससे स्थानीय पर्यटन व्यवसायियों के चेहरे खिल गए हैं। शुक्रवार शाम को ही सड़कों पर पर्यटक हिमपात का आनंद लेते नजर आ रहे थे। चकराता छावनी बाजार, लोखंडी, कोटी कनासर, देववन, मोहिला टाप, चुरानी, चिरमिरी टॉप, आलू मंडी, धारना धार, जाड़ी, मशक, कुनैन, इंदरौली, कंदाड सहित समस्त ऊंचाई वाली चोटियां बर्फ से ढक गईं। सुबह से ही बर्फबारी का सिलसिला शुरू होते ही क्षेत्र में पर्यटकों की चहल-पहल बढ़ गई और लोग बर्फबारी के नजारों का आनंद लेते नजर आए।
