37वीं नेशनल जूनियर एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप में रविवार को उत्तराखंड की झोली में दो स्वर्ण पदक आए। दस हजार मीटर वाक रेस में मानसी नेगी ने नए नेशनल मीट रिकार्ड के साथ स्वर्ण पदक और पांच हजार मीटर वाक रेस में हिमांशु कुमार ने स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने दोनों एथलीट को पदक जीतने की बधाई देते हुए भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं दी हैं।

मानसी ने नया नेशनल मीट रिकार्ड भी अपने नाम किया:
गुवाहाटी में 11 से 15 नवंबर तक 37वीं नेशनल जूनियर एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप का आयोजन चल रहा है। अंडर-20 महिला वर्ग की दस हजार मीटर वाक रेस में महाराणा प्रताप स्पोर्ट्स कालेज एक्सीलेंस विंग की एथलीट मानसी नेगी ने स्वर्ण पदक जीता। मानसी नेगी ने 47:30:94 मिनट में दौड़ पूरी कर नया नेशनल मीट रिकार्ड भी अपने नाम किया। इससे पहले यह रिकार्ड मुनीता प्रजापति के नाम था, जिन्होंने 47:53:58 मिनट में दौड़ पूरी की थी।

कई राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिताओं में पदक जीत चुके ह‍िमांशु:
इसके अलावा पुरुष वर्ग में अंडर-16 आयु वर्ग में देहरादून के हिमांशु कुमार ने पांच हजार मीटर दौड़ को 20:51:66 मिनट में पूरा कर स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया। उत्तराखंड एथलेटिक्स संघ के सचिव केजेएस कलसी ने बताया कि हिमांशु कुमार एएसआइ पुणे में बसंत बहादुर राणा से प्रशिक्षण ले रहे हैं। हिमांशु ने वाक रेस का कहकरा मानक सिद्ध एकेडमी के कोच प्रवीण पुरोहित से सीखा। हिमांशु पूर्व में भी कई राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिताओं में पदक जीत चुके हैं। जबकि मानसी नेगी महाराणा प्रताप स्पोर्ट्स कालेज की एक्सीलेंस विंग के कोच अनूप बिष्ट से प्रशिक्षण ले रही हैं।

देहरादून: लाला नेमीदास मेमोरियल जिला फुटबाल लीग में विकासनगर, नेहरूग्राम और एफसी दून ने अपने-अपने मैच जीतकर पूरे अंक अर्जित किए। पवेलियन मैदान में चल रही प्रतियोगिता में रविवार को पहला मैच विकासनगर और गोरखा ब्वायज के बीच खेला गया। खेल के 27वें मिनट में विकासनगर के फारवर्ड विकेश ने गोल दागकर टीम का खाता खोला।
इसके बाद 31वें और 40वें मिनट में अजय ने गोल दाग 3-0 की बढ़त दिला दी। 56वें मिनट में करण ने गोल दागकर विकासनगर को 4-0 से आगे कर दिया और मैच के अंत तक यही स्कोर रहा। दूसरा मैच नेहरूग्राम और कृष्णा एफसी के बीच खेला गया। नेहरूग्राम को फारवर्ड अंशुल ने विपक्षी डी में मिले पास को गोल में तब्दील कर 10वें मिनट में ही 1-0 की बढ़त दिला दी। जिसे 15वें मिनट में सूरज ने गोल दाग 2-0 कर दिया। यही स्कोर निर्णायक साबित हुआ।

आज प्रतियोगिता में दून स्टार्स और ब्ल्यू स्टार के बीच मैच:
तीसरा मैच एफसी दून और अजबपुर यंग के बीच खेला गया। 10वें मिनट में अजबपुर यंग के फारवर्ड कृष्ण ने गोल दाग स्कोर 1-0 किया, मगर 36वें मिनट में एफसी दून के फारवर्ड आदित्य ने गोल दाग टीम को 1-1 से बराबरी पर ला दिया। 52वें मिनट में सनम ने गोल कर एफसी दून को 2-1 की बढ़त दिला दी। यह मुकाबला इसी स्कोर के साथ समाप्त हुआ। आज प्रतियोगिता में दून स्टार्स और ब्ल्यू स्टार के बीच मैच खेला जाएगा।
