मुख्यमंत्री ने नशामुक्त भारत अभियान के पांच वर्ष पूर्ण होने की बधाई देत हुए कहा कि नशे के खिलाफ लड़ाई में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाने वाले कर्मवीरों के सहयोग से आज समाज नशे की भयावह समस्या से मुकाबला करने में सक्षम हो रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी आज नशामुक्त भारत अभियान के पांच वर्ष पूर्ण होने के अवसर पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए। उन्होंने युवाओं से अपील की कि वो स्वयं भी नशे को पूरी मजबूती के साथ ना कहें, साथ ही अपने साथियों को भी नशे के लिए ना कहने के लिए प्रेरित करें।

आज नशे का प्रसार वैश्विक स्तर पर एक ‘साइलेंट वॉर’ की तरह हो रहा है, जिसका सबसे बड़ा निशाना हमारी युवा शक्ति है। हमारी युवा पीढ़ी ही नए भारत की ऊर्जा, नवाचार, सामर्थ्य और प्रगति का वास्तविक आधार है। यदि यही ऊर्जा किसी नकारात्मक प्रभाव में फंस जाएगी, तो राष्ट्र के विकास की गति भी अवरुद्ध हो जाएगी। इसीलिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वर्ष 2020 में स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान की शुरुआत कर पूरे देश से इस सामाजिक बुराई के विरुद्ध एकजुट होने का आह्वान किया और इसे एक व्यापक जन-आंदोलन का स्वरूप प्रदान किया।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने उपस्थित युवाओं को नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान की शपथ भी दिलाई। साथ ही स्कूल कॉलेजों में राज्य स्तर पर आयोजित भाषण एवं निंबध प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को भी सम्मानित किया।
