सोमवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने टिहरी जिले के व्यासी स्थित एक होटल में केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी से भेंट की। केंद्रीय मंत्री यहां निजी यात्रा पर आए हुए हैं। इस मुलाकात के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने उनके समक्ष राज्य व राष्ट्रीय मार्गों के निर्माण के संबंध में चर्चा की।
उन्होंने केंद्रीय मंत्री को बताया कि केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने छह राज्य राजमार्गों को राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग के रूप में घोषित करने की सैद्धांतिक सहमति दी गई थी। इनमें खैरना-रानीखेत, बुआखाल-देवप्रयाग, देवप्रयाग-गजा-खाड़ी, पांडुखाल-नागचुलाखाल-बैजरो, बिहारीगढ़-रोशनाबाद व लक्ष्मणझूला-दुगड्डा-मोहन-रानीखेत मार्ग शामिल हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने इन मार्गों को जल्द अधिसूचित करने का अनुरोध किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार द्वारा मसूरी की महत्वपूर्ण दो हजार करोड़ की लागत से बनने वाली टू-लेन टनल योजना में एनएचएआइ को कार्यदायी संस्था बनाया गया है। इस योजना के प्रथम चरण के सभी कार्य लोनिवि द्वारा किए जा रहे हैं। ऐसे में मसूरी टनल का कार्य भी लोक निर्माण विभाग को आवंटित किया जाए।
उन्होंने केंद्र सरकार के स्तर पर विचाराधीन देहरादून रिंग रोड के कार्य को शीघ्र स्वीकृति देने का अनुरोध किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने केद्रीय मंत्री से आपदा के दौरान क्षतिग्रस्त मार्गों को सुचारू करने के लिए 12.95 करोड़ का भुगतान करने संबंधी प्रस्ताव को भी स्वीकृति देने का अनुरोध किया।
