प्रमुख विपक्षी दल का यही कदम अब निर्णायक साबित हो चुका है। प्रदेश की भाजपा सरकार ने विधानसभा में नियुक्तियों में गड़बड़ी की जांच कराई। जांच रिपोर्ट के आधार पर वर्ष 2016 में कांग्रेस की तत्कालीन हरीश रावत सरकार के कार्यकाल में हुईं 150 नियुक्तियों समेत कुल 228 नियुक्तियां रद कर दीं। रद नियुक्तियों की अधिक संख्या कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान रही है। यद्यपि विधानसभा में नियुक्तियों में गड़बड़ी का मामला राजनीतिक रूप से उछलने के बाद पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत ने इसे आयोग के भर्ती घोटाले से ध्यान भंग करने की कोशिश करार दिया था। तत्कालीन विधानसभा अध्यक्ष व वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता गोविंद सिंह कुंजवाल ने तो बेटे-बहू को विधानसभा में नियुक्ति देने के मामले में माफी भी मांगने में देर नहीं लगाई।
