आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव के मद्देनज़र भारत सरकार द्वारा कोविड वैक्सीन अमृत महोत्सव का आयोजन 15 जुलाई से आगामी 75 दिनों तक पूरे प्रदेश भर में चलाया जाएगा। इसमे 18 वर्ष से ऊपर पात्र लाभार्थियों को अब निःशुल्क कोविड प्रीकॉशन डोज़ लगेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने प्रदेशवासियों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के विरूद्ध लड़ाई में वैक्सीनेशन ही हमारा सबसे बड़ा हथियार है, सभी प्रदेशवासी जो भी 18 वर्ष से ऊपर है वो सभी कोविड प्रीकॉशन डोज अभियान का हिस्सा बनकर कोविड वैक्सीन अवश्य लगवाएं और अन्य लोगों को भी प्रोत्साहित करें। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले दो वर्षों में हमने प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में कोरोना महामारी का डटकर मुकाबला किया। उनके नेतृत्व में भारत में कोविड वैक्सीनेशन का महाअभियान चलाया गया, साथ ही मानवता का परिचय देते हुए दुनिया भर में भारत द्वारा वैक्सीन बांटने का कार्य भी किया गया। कोरोना महामारी कम अवश्य हुई है परन्तु अभी खत्म नही हुई है, अभी भी बचाव, जागरूकता, साफ-सफाई एवं वैक्सीनेशन द्वारा ही इससे बचा जा सकता है।
कोविड प्रीकॉशन डोज़ के महाअभियान के विषय में जानकारी देते हुए निदेशक, राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन डॉ. सरोज नैथानी ने बताया कि 15 जुलाई से प्रदेश के सभी स्वास्थ्य ईकायों में 18 वर्ष की आयु से ऊपर उन लोगों को जिनको कोविड की दूसरी डोज़ लगे 6 महिने (26 हफ्ते) पूरे हो चुके हों को निःशुल्क बूस्टर/प्रीकॉशन डोज़ लगवाई जाएगी।
डॉ. नैथानी ने बताया की बूस्टर/प्रीकॉशन डोज़ निजी चिकत्सालयों में 386 रुपये प्रति डोज़ की लग रही थी वह अब सभी सरकारी स्वास्थ्य ईकायों में निशुल्क लगाया जाएगा। जिसको लेकर स्वास्थ्य विभाग पूरी तरह से तैयार है और सभी जनपदों को दिशा-निर्देश जारी कर दिए हैं।
