बुधवार को सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने बुधवार को प्रेमनगर भाऊवाला स्थित ग्राम-रामपुर में वीर शहीद अनुसुया प्रसाद मेमोरियल समिति द्वारा 10 महार रेजिमेंट के वीर नायक शहीद अनुसूया प्रसाद की पुण्यतिथि पर आयोजित श्रद्धांजलि सभा एवं खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता में विजेता टीम को पुरुस्कार वितरण कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया।
इस अवसर पर सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री ने वीर नायक शहीद अनुसूया प्रसाद की पुण्यतिथि पर उन्हें पुष्प चक्र अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी। इस अवसर पर सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री ने कहा 1971 के भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध में शहीद, महावीर चक्र से अंलकृत अनुसूया प्रसाद का देश की रक्षा के लिए दिया सर्वोच्च बलिदान राष्ट्र हमेशा स्मरण रखेगा। इस दौरान मंत्री जोशी ने शहीद की स्मृति में आयोजित सप्तम बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता की विजेता टीम को ट्राफी ओर 15 हजार रूप का डमी चेक के वितरित कर सभी प्रतिभागियों को भी बधाई ओर शुभकामनाएं दी। इस अवसर पर शाहिद की वीरांगना ओर शाहिद की माता जी ने मंत्री जोशी को भागवत गीता की पुस्तक भेंट की।
वहीं सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री ने कहा हमारी सरकार शहीदों की पूर्ण चिंता करती है,उन्होंने कहा कारगिल युद्ध के बाद शहीद का पार्थिव शरीर सम्मान के साथ उसके पैतृक आवास लाया जाता है।
मंत्री जोशी ने कहा राज्य सरकार ने वर्ष 2018 के बाद शहीद हुए वीरों के परिजनों को राज्य सरकार में उनकी योग्यता के अनुरूप सरकारी नौकरी देने का काम कर रही है। मंत्री जोशी ने कहा हंस फाउंडेशन के सहयोग से हमने वीर शहीद का स्मृति द्वार भी निर्मित करवाया है। उन्होंने कहा आज सैनिकों के सम्मान में देहरादून में भव्य सैन्यधाम निर्माण किया जा रहा है,जिसका निर्माण कार्य गतिमान है।
सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की परिकल्पना के स्वरूप उत्तराखण्ड में सैन्य धाम निर्माण हो तथा एक सैनिक होने के नाते यह मेरा भी ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट ओर दृढ़ संकल्प है कि उत्तराखण्ड का सैन्य धाम यहां के चार धामों की तरह ही विकसित हो। मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि सैन्य धाम को भव्य रूप दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार द्वारा देश के विभिन्न स्मारकों का अध्ययन करके सैन्य धाम के डिजाइन को अंतिम रूप दिया है। मंत्री ने कहा कि हमारा संकल्प है कि 2023 के अंत तक हम सैन्य धाम का निर्माण पूर्ण कर लेंगे।
इस अवसर पर सहसपुर विधायक सहदेव सिंह पुण्डीर, शहीद की वीरांगना चित्रा देवी, गुरु राम राय इंटर कॉलेज भाऊवाला के प्रधानाचार्य, दून हेरिटेज स्कूल भाऊवाला के प्रधानाचार्य एवं समाज सेवी रवि नेगी, पिंडर घाटी संस्था के अध्यक्ष रावल, अनिल गौड, मोहन गौड, प्रदीप पुंडीर एवं समिति के समस्त पदाधिकारीगण उपस्थित रहे।
